The 2024 HD Ram comes in Tradesman, Bighorn, Laramie, Power Wagon, Limited Longhorn, Limited and the new to the 2024 lineup is the Rebel. Ram's powerful 2500 and 3500 Heavy-Duty trucks return for 2024 with more to like than ever before? A 6-speed HD automatic is available in the 3500 paired with the high-output version of the diesel engine that outputs 400 horsepower and an astonishing 1075-pound feet of torque. The 6.4L Hemi V8 gas engine with an output of 410 horsepower and 429-pound feet of torque which is paired with an 8-speed Automatic. The 6.7 Cummins Turbo Diesel has an output of 370 hp, and 850-pound feet of torque and is paired with a 6-speed automatic. The cab and box options are as followed Crew Cab 8' box, Crew Cab 6'4" box, and Mega Cab 6'4" Box. Some trims such as the Rebel are limited to Crew Cab 6'4". When properly equipped max towing of 37,090 and a max payload of 7,680, the Ram HD still puts up big enough numbers to challenge rivals such as the Chevrolet Silverado HD and the Ford Super Duty trucks.
Diesel Rams employ a Ram Active Air intake system that draws more cool air from the front of the truck for more power in hot temperatures or at high altitude.
Ram HDs can be ordered with either rear-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive. In 4-wheel-drive models, a front-axle disconnect system can help improve fuel economy. The Ram 3500 utilizes a Hotchkiss leaf-spring rear suspension, while 2500s have replaced leaf springs with a 5-link coil spring setup. Front suspension is now courtesy of a 3-link system. 2500s can be optioned with heavy-duty air suspension in place of the coil springs, which allow for driver-controlled load-leveling with precise, individual adjustment. Leaf-sprung 3500 dual-rear-wheel trucks with maximum tow packages also feature the air suspension system.
Ram understands that its trucks must last a lifetime. To stand behind them, Ram offers a 5-year or 100,000 miles warranty for diesel powertrains and 5-year or 60,000 miles for the gas powertrain.
On the interior, Ram HD trucks have been reconfigured to provide increased creature comforts. Available amenities include soft-touch instrument panels and door trim, 2-tone upholstery and contrasting stitching. Wood and metal inlays accent the interior and a largest-in-class 12-inch full-color touchscreen display serves as central command for the Ram HD. Heated and ventilated seating and a heated steering wheel are also available. Buyers can choose between bucket seats or a 40/20/40 bench configuration. In either case there's a multi-media port in the center with USB, SD and auxiliary inputs.
Each Ram HD offers a different set of interior appointments and equipment that can be tailored to fit basic work needs or provide a relatively luxurious cabin. Two different UConnect systems with the 12-inch touchscreen are offered both with Bluetooth hands-free connectivity. The top system also provides wireless Internet connectivity, as well as HD Radio and SiriusXM compatibility.

The Big Horn/Lone Star adds 18-inch chrome wheels, heated mirrors, Ram Connect services, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, satellite radio, 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment, mobile hotspot, trailer brake controller, power windows and locks including tailgate, remote keyless entry, and cloth bench seats.
The Laramie gets all the equipment on the previous trims plus, LED fog lights, full LED headlamps, power-folding side mirrors, power sliding rear window with defrost, acoustic front windows, proximity keyless entry, active noise cancellation, trailer light check system, dampened tailgate, dual gloveboxes, LED interior lighting, remote start, dual zone automatic climate control, 9 USB ports, front and rear parking sensors, power adjustable pedals, leather seats, power heated front seats, heated steering wheel, and 10-speakers.
The 2024 Rebel HD and Power Wagon offers an off-road-focused model that features a lifted suspension, skid plates, and an electronically locking rear differential. The Rebel is offered exclusively on the 2500 model, four-wheel drive is standard. The Rebel 2500 shares much of the Power Wagon's undercarriage, including its three-link live-axle front suspension, five-link coil-sprung rear axle with a limited-slip differential and electronic locker, skid plates, and 33-inch off-road tires. The Power Wagon comes standard with a 6.4-liter V-8 with 410 horsepower, backed by an eight-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. Styling is largely derived from the Power Wagon, but the Rebel gets a unique Mopar power-bulge hood. The Power Wagon standard equipment list includes its 2-inch suspension lift, 17-inch bead-lock-capable wheels, lockable front differential, and the Articulink front suspension with its detachable front anti-roll bar. Also, the Power Wagon's standard 12,000-pound Warn winch is an option on the Rebel. HD Rebel offers a few critical options you can't get on a Power Wagon, including one that is nothing more than legendary, The Cummins 6.7-liter, six-cylinder turbodiesel. The Rebel also comes with a set of stiffer springs found on other HD rams and an optional rear air suspension.
The Limited Longhorn tops the Laramie with more luxury features, such as rain sensing wipes, projector beam headlamps, LED bed lighting, spray-in bedliner, remote tailgate release, ambient lighting, premium leather interior, bucket ventilated front seats, driver seat memory, and integrated navigation with voice activation.
The most luxurious Limited adds 20-inch wheels, power running boards, wireless charging pad, 12-inch touchscreen infotainment, RamBox (short bed only), and blind spot monitor with rear cross traffic alert.
